Widespread Panic Announce Spring Tour

<p><a href=”http://www.widespreadpanic.com”><strong>Widespread Panic</strong></a> has announced spring tour dates in celebration of the band’s 30th anniversary and twelfth studio album, <em>Street Dogs</em> (September 25th 2015 via Vanguard Records). The tour will kick off with three nights at Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater with stops in Chicago, Detroit and Wanee Music Festival. Their good friends Tedeschi Trucks Band will join them in Birmingham on April 23 and their good friend Jason Isbell will join them in Raleigh on April 30. See tour dates below.</p>
<p>The band’s latest album, <em>Street Dogs</em>, is a testament to how the veteran band can remain vibrant, relevant and continue to progress. <em>American Songwriter</em> called it “…one of Widespread Panic’s finest discs.” <em>PopMatters</em> said “…the band has never sounded better nor more relaxed” (8/10 stars).&nbsp;</p>

<p>The band’s music and live shows have become a rite of passage for multiple generations who continue to pack venues and follow the band throughout the U.S. The band has remained in <em>Pollstar</em>’s Top 50 Tours of the Year for the past decade and holds attendance records at major venues across the country, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre (48 sell-outs).</p>
