A Band Redefining Guitar Music
The String Revolution is a cutting-edge instrumental guitar trio known for their innovative re-imaginings of classic hits like “Billie Jean,” “Rocket Man,” and “Crazy Train.” Earlier this year, the group received critical acclaim for their Grammy-winning collaboration with Tommy Emmanuel on their arrangement of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues,” produced by John Carter Cash at Cash Cabin Studios.
Formed in 2015 by Janet Robin, a former student of Randy Rhoads and Lindsey Buckingham’s solo band alumna, the group also features award-winning Austrian guitarist Markus Illko and Cuban multi-instrumentalist Robert Luis.
