Ten years ago, the jam scene was introduced to something entirely different. Pink Talking Fish made their debut on 9/26/13 in Breckenridge, CO, presenting a blend that blurred the lines between tribute and originality. By taking the music of three cherished bands – Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish – Pink Talking Fish gave fans a fresh and invigorating interpretation of beloved classics.
On Saturday, the band marked their 10th anniversary with a grand celebration in their hometown, Boston. The highlight of the event was their rendition of Boston’s “Foreplay/Longtime”, reminiscent of Phish’s 1999 performance at Great Woods in Massachusetts. Fans can relive the magic by watching the performance and a special 10-year anniversary photo montage:
Adding to the excitement, Pink Talking Fish has unveiled their 2024 Winter Tour. Starting in New Jersey and Connecticut, the band will sweep across the West Coast before culminating with their appearance at Arizona’s Gem and Jam Festival in February. Additionally, the band has a Southeast Tour set for October with stops across prominent cities.
