North Coast Reveals Phase 1 Lineup

<p><strong><em>Coastie</em></strong> (Noun): An avid music festival fan who calls North Coast Music Festival home for three days a year.</p>
<p>Thousands of <em>Coasties</em> lovingly refer to <strong>North Coast Music Festival (NCMF) </strong>as “Summer’s Last Stand.” This year, the seventh annual festival returns to Union Park over Labor Day Weekend on <strong>Friday, September 2nd through Sunday, September 4th.</strong></p>

<p> Year after year North Coast’s all-embracing roster spans genres from dance to hip-hop, indie, funk, jam bands,&nbsp;and everything else sprinkled in between. This year’s headlining artists include ingenious DJ/producer <strong>BASSNECTAR</strong> making his triumphant return to North Coast, along with influential breakout duo&nbsp;<strong>ODESZA </strong>making&nbsp;their headlining NCMF&nbsp;debut, and international&nbsp;superstar, <strong>ZEDD</strong>.</p>
<p>Additionally, the Phase One lineup features a wide array of artists making their North Coast debut including <strong>LOGIC, GROUPLOVE, GALANTIS, JUICY J, GREENSKY BLUEGRASS, TY DOLLA $IGN,&nbsp;ZOMBOY, MATOMA, SAM FELDT, RAURY, VULFPECK, THE REVIVALISTS,</strong>&nbsp;<strong>STICK FIGURE, </strong>and <strong>BIG WILD</strong>, along with indie-noise-pop darlings<strong> SLEIGH BELLS.</strong></p>
<p> Another notable&nbsp;North Coast first is<strong>&nbsp;Les Claypool </strong>of<strong> Primus’</strong> brainchild, <strong>THE CLAYPOOL LENNON DELIRIUM</strong>, a new collaborative project with <strong>Sean Lennon</strong> (Son of John Lennon) will perform.&nbsp;The pair&nbsp;rounds out their massive Summer tour with their first ever Chicago performance at NCMF, in celebration of their debut collaborative LP, set for release this June.</p>
<p> Returning to the fest for the second time is everyone’s favorite&nbsp;Chef-turned-MC&nbsp;<strong>ACTION BRONSON</strong> who recently released a widely popular&nbsp;web food series called <a href=”http://reactpresents.us6.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=58d4ad0644812ee8d56ab3b75&amp;id=a2e5aab816&amp;e=7e75c810f9″ target=”_blank”>”F*ck That’s Delicious”</a>&nbsp;via VICE’s Viceland channel. Toronto-based electro purveyors&nbsp;<strong>KEYS &amp; KRATES</strong> will also be returning as North Coast veterans, to once again create incredible memories for festival goers from all over the nation.</p>
