Marty O’Reilly & the Old Soul Orchestra have been building a dedicated following in the Bay Area through the word-of-mouth surrounding their live shows. This 4-piece from Santa Cruz fuse their Americana Roots background into a wholly progressive sound, taking their music into territory you would never expect from a resonator guitar, violin, upright bass, and drum kit. Their boundary-pushing compositions and breathtaking live show have earned them a reputation as one of the most exciting young bands in the area, and they’ll be proving the hype this month during their 3-show residency at The Chapel (Aug 11th, Aug 24, Aug 31).
