Lotus continues to announce 2017 tour dates in support of the latest album, Eat the Light. February is jam-packed with shows out west including new dates in Sandpoint, ID; Missoula, MT; Jackson Hole, WY; Park City, UT; and two nights in Aspen, CO before heading to the Midwest into early March where they will hit Omaha, NE; Madison, WI; Minneapolis, MN; Columbia, MO; two nights in Grand Rapids, MI; and Columbus, OH. These new shows are in addition to the previously announced two-night runs at Pittsburgh’s Stage AE for New Year’s Eve, Club, Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse, and Asheville’s Orange Peel as well as one-off shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Denver, Portland and more. Whether you catch Lotus in outdoor amphitheaters, the country’s best theaters, intimate clubs or a variety of festivals, you can expect to have an experience of the senses.

The band’s new album, Eat the Light, is a first for Lotus – an album with vocals on every song. Guest singers appear throughout ranging from soulful to indie and electronic to rock. The tracks bubble with contagious dance energy and blast into orbit with sing-along choruses. The tightly produced yet raw grooves recall sounds of The Talking Heads, Jamiroquai, and LCD Soundsystem.

Lotus is composed of Mike Greenfield (Drums), Jesse Miller (Bass, Sampler), Luke Miller (Guitar, Keys), Mike Rempel (Guitar) and Chuck Morris (Percussion).
