Today, the Pennsylvania-born, Nashville-based singer/songwriter Langhorne Slim released “Dream Come True” via Dualtone Records, his first release of new music this year. The song was produced by Greta Van Fleet’s Sam Kiszka and features his bandmates Danny Wagner on drums and Jake Kiszka, who co-wrote the song, on background vocals. A banjo-driven roots anthem of enduring love, “Dream Come True” is a moving reflection on Slim’s earliest dreams of living an artist’s life anchored by the ever-relevant mantra: “To live a dream it can be hard to do / But without a dream you can’t have a dream come true.”

Last month, Langhorne Slim announced he will appear as a special guest on comedian Jordan Kleeper’s Suffering Fools stand up tour this fall “to bring some much-needed joy” as stated by Klepper. Slim will appear at shows starting on September 19 in Durham, NC as well as shows in Atlanta, Boston, Madison, Minneapolis and more. Find a full list of tour dates below or visit his website.
“Jordan Klepper’s mind is as sharp as his heart is smart. I’m really looking forward to joining forces with him on the road for this handful of very special shows,” says Langhorne Slim about the upcoming tour.
Following the release of his latest critically acclaimed album Strawberry Mansion, Slim found himself opening for Greta Van Fleet during their Strange Horizons tour. The GRAMMY-winning rockers were fans of his music long before he hit the stage as their opening act. “I remember hearing Lost at Last, Volume 1 for the first time, and it absolutely resonated with me,” says bassist, producer and GRAMMY-winning artist Sam Kiszka about working with Langhorne Slim. “He has the conviction of 100 singers. He puts his entire body and soul into it. Rock & roll isn’t a sound, necessarily. It’s an energy, and he’s got it.”
“Dream Come True” marks a new chapter in Langhorne Slim’s sonic evolution that stands in stark contrast to the raw and stripped down Strawberry Mansion, which debuted in the top 10 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists, Americana/Folk Albums and Heatseekers charts upon release. The album was praised by Rolling Stone, The Wall Street Journal, NPR’s All Things Considered and many more.
