DelFest, Relix, and Rex Foundation are proud to present preorders for DelFest Does Dead, a special limited-edition 2-LP release capturing unforgettable Grateful Dead covers performed live at DelFest 2025 in Cumberland, Maryland.
Recorded across May 22–25, 2025, this collection showcases DelFest’s bluegrass heart meeting the timeless Dead songbook, interpreted by some of the festival’s most beloved acts. Featured performances include: The Del McCoury Band, The Travelin’ McCourys, Leftover Salmon, Railroad Earth, Kitchen Dwellers, Darrell Scott, Sister Sadie, Mountain Grass Unit, Clay Street Unit, and The Price Sisters.
Produced by Ronnie McCoury and Ariel Rosemberg and mastered by Jesse Lauter, DelFest Does Dead is a front-to-back journey of high-lonesome harmonies, adventurous improvisation, and hot-rod string band energy—mixed to be played loud.
