With a string of sold out shows in Chicago, Asbury Park, Portland (ME), and Burlington (VT) already this year, LaMP, featuring Russ Lawton, Scott Metzger & Ray Paczkowski, have proven themselves one of the hottest new bands on the improvisational music circuit. Today, they announce five additional fall dates to support their new album, “One of Us,” which captures their ability to tap into what Relix Magazine calls, “unbridled creativity” and what Premier Guitar Magazine says, “builds on the long history of the organ-trio tradition…all while embracing the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll abandon.”
9/17 – Asheville, NC – Third Room/
9/18 – Raleigh, NC – Lincoln Theatre
9/19 – Richmond, VA – Richmond Music Hall
10/20 – Denver, CO – Cervantes’ Other Side
10/21 – Denver, CO – Cervantes’ Other Side
Artist pre-sale for these shows begins at noon, local time, on Wednesday, June 25, with general on-sale starting at noon, local, on Friday, June 27.
This run of dates caps off a summer that sees them play High Sierra Music Festival in California, FloydFest in Virginia, and Annapolis Baygrass Festival in Maryland, alongside several other festivals and headline dates, as they criss-cross the country.
Their growing popularity is no surprise to fans who’ve previously embraced LaMP’s individual members. Metzger is the guitarist for Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and Lawton and Paczkowski have long teamed as the rhythm section to the Trey Anastasio Band. However, the trio’s chemistry and infectious improvisational jams have started to elevate the band into something much more than a side project. And they’re still just getting started. Look for more dates to be announced in short order, building on their full slate of 2025 performances.
