SEA WOLF announces a headlining tour kicking off on May 17 in Pomona, CA and wrapping up on June 16 at the El Rey in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles.
The tour, which is in support of Sea Wolf’s third and most intimate work Old World Romance (released 2012 on Dangerbird Records), follows a packed performance at the Dangerbird and Rdioshowcases at SXSW and a much anticipated spring tour with Josh Ritter.
Sea Wolf’s jaunt will take the band to the Bonnaroo and Sasquatch festivals and to headlining dates in New York (Bowery Ballroom), Austin, TX (Stubb’s Jr.), San Francisco, CA (Great American Music Hall) and Boston, MA (Brighton Music Hall). Please see below for the complete list of tour dates.
For fans of Sea Wolf, Old World Romance may moreover harken back to the simpler strains of the band’s debut long player, Leaves In The River (2007) rather than their sophomore effort, 2009’sWhite Water, White Bloom, but the burgeoning body of work finds frontman/singer/songwriter,Alex Brown Church, held to his own high standards of songcraft and performance.
