<p>Alex Woodard is a singer-songwriter who&nbsp;writes songs about letters and weaves their backstories into a book and album package called FOR THE SENDER.&nbsp;Most of these letters that had inspired the songs were about the extraordinary beauty and growth that people were creating post-trauma.&nbsp;</p>
<p>His latest project,&nbsp;<em>FOR THE SENDER</em>:&nbsp;<em>Love Letters From Vietnam,&nbsp;</em>is&nbsp;an album of songs&nbsp;created from letters left behind by a Vietnam veteran and the daughter that finds them. The book&nbsp;<em>FOR THE SENDER: Love Letters From Vietnam</em>, was released to raves and now the album comes out Feb 12.&nbsp;<strong>This is a compelling story of&nbsp;service and sacrifice, love and redemption, and the power of forgiveness and healing through music, written and&nbsp;performed by Woodard.&nbsp;</strong></p>
