Roan is more than an emerging voice – she’s also an established author, having penned a novel and book of poetry. Her extensive studies in literature and history, along with newfound motherhood, inspired her bright and honest debut effort that’s reminiscent of <strong>Joni Mitchell</strong> and <strong>Regina Spektor</strong> and bears a recognizable — and almost uncanny — vocal resemblance to her musician father.</p>
