Recent years have seen American rock quintet Goose emerge as a force to be reckoned with, captivating audiences with their improvisational prowess and evocative songcraft. Today, the band proudly presents a surprise album release titled, Live at The Salt Shed. The album contains both performances from Goose’s transcendent two-night spectacle at Chicago’s groundbreaking indoor/outdoor music haven, The Salt Shed.

This exclusive release, available solely on DSPs, immerses listeners in the captivating energy of Goose’s historic performances. Night one (4/14/2023) saw the venue buzzing with palpable anticipation, and the band certainly delivered for the capacity crowd. Out of the gates, Goose delivered a powerful “All I Need,” followed by a sonorous take on the country-influenced tune “The Whales.” Additional highlights include “Hungersite” an enchanting selection from the band’s acclaimed 2022 album Dripfield, and a mesmerizing rendition of The Beatles’ “Tomorrow Never Knows.” Night two (4/15/2023) unveils its own sonic treasures with “Echo of a Rose,” the delectable “Pancakes,” and a soul-stirring “Slow Ready.” The release also includes a never before heard 30-minute “Chicago Soundcheck Jam” that encapsulates the power of the band’s ability to conjure energy through improvisation. Each track, a testament to Goose’s exceptional artistry, transports the listener to the very heart of their unparalleled live experience.
